Macro Photography : Love and Light! by Magnoliaearth

Please come join me on Facebook! This Echinacea ‘Mama Mia’ is one of my favorites, clearly this swallowtail agrees. :)

I am so sorry for my absence! I had major surgery and we are moving. Both of those things have really hindered my ability to post. I miss so many of you, but after next week things will (hopefully) calm down! But we will be busy creating (a 10 acre!!!!!!! )Magnolia Earth 2.0. We have over 200 transplants from ME1 to help us get started! I hope everyone is having a beautiful and love filled August. Love and Light to all! Laura

Macro Photography : In Moment Of Relaxation by LeonidFedyantsev

The downy emerald (Cordulia aenea) is a species of dragonfly. It is metallic green and bronze in color, and its thorax is coated with fine hairs, hence its name. Like most other emeralds, the downy emerald has bright shiny green eyes. Adults are around 5 cm in length, and are in flight from May through July each year.
