Macro Photography : Common Darter – Sympetrum striolatum by HeathMcdonald
Taken in the early morning last weekend at Blackmoor Reserve near Charterhouse on the Mendips in Somerset.
This is one of two female Common Darters found very close to each other in perfect windless conditions, there was even a slight ground frost.
