Reading the paper can be depressing! As the saying goes, there’s no news like ‘bad’ news! Amidst all that hate, intolerance, murder, genocide, rape, etc, etc. We get more thick skinned and insensitive and that rubs of on the kids and that has a cascading effect on society. If you live in the Indian subcontinent, then there’s no dearth of bad news, at home or in the neighborhood! Still life goes on and we also seek solace in keeping our heads up and strive in securing the future of our children, who as things stand, may not have good things to look up to. So I derive pleasure from framing flowers which despite their short lived life span brings joy and fragrance. I think we should learn from the flowers. Lets learn to love and not preach hate, be tolerant to each others faiths, sensitivities and strive to make this world a better place for future generations to come!
